Courgette & Lime Cake
A fresh cake for the very end of summer using Groobarbs Courgettes. The cakes are sandwiched together with homemade lime curd and topped with a glace lime icing and crunchy pistachio nuts.
Our cakes are made to order in the Groobarbs Field Kitchen by Kate, our baker. They are produced from seasonal and local products and are free from ultra-processed ingredients.
Storage: Please remove from packaging and store in an airtight cake tin.
Ingredients:
Cake: Courgettes, Wheat Flour, Golden Caster Sugar, British Rapeseed Oil, Free Range Cheshire Eggs, Baking Powder, Bicarbonate of Soda, Lime Zest, Salt.
Lime Curd: Free Range Cheshire Eggs, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Butter, Lime Zest.
Decoration: Icing Sugar, Pistachio Nuts, Lime Juice.
