Coffee & Walnut Cake

A creative take on a traditional favourite showcasing the parsnips we’re harvesting in Great Budworth. We’re also using Cheshire flour grown and milled locally, it’s even fertilised with green waste from Cheshire and Manchester.

Our Coffee, Parsnip and Walnut Cake contains roasted walnuts, a cream cheese and coffee filling and coffee glace icing.

Please keep the cake in its box or a cake tin in a cool spot.


Ingredients:

Cake: Parsnip, Vegetable Oil, Walnuts, Sugar, Cheshire WheatFlour, Cheshire Free Range Eggs, Sultanas, Coffee, Fennel Seeds, Baking Powder, Bicarbonate of Soda, Salt.

Filling: Icing Sugar, Butter, Cream Cheese.

Decoration: Icing Sugar, Roasted Walnuts, Coffee.

A diverse range of allergens are used in the Field Kitchen, common allergens used include: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts tree nuts, fish, sesame and soy.
