Rhubarb & Custard Cake
Groobarb's seasonal rhubarb and delicious vanilla custard in one cake! The rhubarb is initially roasted and then combined with a vanilla batter and spoonfuls of custard before being baked into a teatime (or anytime!) treat.
Our cakes are only made from seasonal and local products and avoid Ultra Processed Ingredients. They are produced, to order in the Groobarbs Field Kitchen each week by The Runaway Train Bakery
Ingredients:
Cake: Rhubarb, Butter, Sugar, Self raising flour, Free Range Cheshire Eggs, Vanilla Custard, Vanilla extract, Salt.
Decoration: Icing Sugar.
Allergens: A diverse range of allergens are used in the Field Kitchen, common allergens used include: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts tree nuts, fish, sesame, and soy.
Storage: Please remove the cake from its box and keep cool in an airtight cake tight tin.
