Rhubarb & Ginger Cake
Two layers of sturdy ginger cake (made with lots of butter and golden syrup!) sandwiched together with a cream cheese filling and roasted Groobarb's Rhubarb. The rhubarb adds a tang and moisture to the gingery sweetness of the cake.
Our cakes are only made from seasonal and local products and avoid Ultra Processed Ingredients. They are produced, to order in the Groobarbs Field Kitchen each week by The Runaway Train Bakery
Ingredients:
Cake: Self raising flour, Golden Syrup, Butter, Muscovado Sugar, Eggs, Carrot, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Salt.
Filling: Rhubarb, Icing Sugar, Butter, Cream Cheese, Root Ginger, Salt.
Decoration: Icing Sugar, Lemon Juice, Glace Ginger.
Allergens: A diverse range of allergens are used in the Field Kitchen, common allergens used include: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts tree nuts, fish, sesame, and soy.
Storage: Please remove the cake from its box and keep in an airtight cake tight tin.
