Three Chocolate Pear Cake

Our pears are finally ready to harvest here at Groobarbs!

We’ve baked them into an Italian chocolate cake using dark chocolate and rum. The cake has a delicious crunchy top of white chocolate and hazelnuts.

Our cakes are only made from seasonal and local products and are free from Ultra Processed Ingredients. They are produced, to order in the Groobarbs Field Kitchen by Kate our baker.

Storage: Please keep the cake in its box in a cool spot

Ingredients:

Cake: Wheat Flour, Caster Sugar, Yoghurt (Milk), Vegetable Oil, Cheshire Free Range Eggs, Fair Trade Cocoa, Rum, Natural Vanilla Essence, Baking Powder, Salt.

Decoration: Hazelnuts, Poached Pears (pear, sugar, rum), milk chocolate chips (Belgian milk chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, soya lecithin, natural vanilla), white chocolate (sugar, fair trade cocoa butter, dried full cream milk, whey powder, sunflower lecithin).
