Fresh Tomato Salsa

Enjoy with tortilla chips

What you'll need…

  • 4 Large Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • Small bunch of coriander
  • 3 jalapeƱo chillis
  • 4 Tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teapoon sea salt

The method

Finely chop your onions, and coriander. Then combine the lime juice, sugar, salt and onion together in a bowl and leave to rest.

Heat a griddle pan to a high heat and grill the tomatoes until charred. Place into a bowl and cover, then repeat with the chillis.

Remove as much skin as possible from the tomatoes and chillis and then roughly chop. Combine with the other ingredients, add in the coriander and leave for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
